Past Strategy Cups

Almost 200 participants across 49 teams from Czech, Slovak as well as foreign universities took up the challenge and participated in the 2010 edition of the BCG Strategy Cup.

BCG is proud to congratulate our BCG Strategy Cup 2010 winners Martin, Jan and Alexander from The Usual Suspects team (University of Economics Prague - VSE).

This year’s winners presented excellent and balanced performance across all three areas assessed – analytical rigor, strong strategic recommendation grounded with facts and oral presentation with ability to defend their work during Q&A session. Download their winning presentation.

Linda, Marek, Štepán a Martin from team Stars placed second. Third place was awarded to Martina, Radek, Miroslav and Jakub from Tui Team.

Prague Consulting Troop from VSE placed second. Third place was awarded to 4-leaf team composed of students from Charles University, Univ. of Vienna and VSE.

In total 35 teams qualified to participate in the BCG Strategy Cup 2008. There were many interesting, original thoughts, diverse styles and approaches, and demonstration of much effort and brain power in the presentations. Thank you to all participants!

The second place team, UNYP Team from UNYP was the runner up in the final. The third place team, Helenine Oci was formed by VSE and MatFyz students.

In the fall of 2007, BCG in Prague organized its first annual case competition for students from the top Czech universities - BCG Strategy Cup. More than 100 students joined to enrich their experiences, get to know BCG and eventually to win the first prize.

The winning team of the BCG Strategy Cup 2007 was "Stars & Questionmarks", consisting of Jakub, Jaroslava, Alice and Martin. All team members were students from the University of Economics Prague.
